  • Lucky or unlucky?

Day before my mid sessionals where everyone else had in January. Damn. This exam is causing me to miss out so many events. Like literally everything else left this year. Darn. Can't wait to be done with it. Better not fail though.

And yesterday on the way back from LSE library in Holborn....Sweat. So I left at 12am cause that is when non-lse student has to leave. Quick stepped to catch a route 59 doubledecker, went to the top deck seat. And got down 10minutes later at Euston station nicely walk back to my flat. As soon as I drop my bag I realized that I F**ing left my file with all Human Disease & Oral Surgery notes in bus!

So 59 goes to King's Cross. My first instinct was to print them all out again, but nope, too close to exam to sort them out. Next is to leg it to king's Cross but obviously its already 10min since the bus drop me off and I am nowhere faster then a bus at midnight.

So I thought ok, the bus will terminate At King's X and 'bounce' back to Euston en route to southbound places etc, so I waited at the same stop, but opposite side at Euston Road. But then problem was what if that was the last bus? Ie. it could go out of service like what many other buses just past me did. Was there for like 20min until eventually the 1st 59 came. What if its not the 59 I took? Or some kind hearted people raise it up and its now in King's X customer service or police station cause it could have like anthrax in it?

ANyway a brief chat with the driver, I pop up deck and see it nicely sitting there. Relieved. Just so glad its there, the late twenties Englishmen was quite happy for me when i went off. MAn. I spent the whole night just couldn't concentrate At all. damn

  • Queen

Should be preparing for uni tomorrow if not sleep now. but recently I been listening to a lot of Queen's music. Queen, led by Freddie Mercury as lead vocalist and guitarist Brian May along others, was probably Britain's greatest ever band. And the lead, Freddie Mercury, is actually of Indian origin, gay, contracted HIV and died. They wrote many great hits and everyone in UK know literally all their songs well. They wrote many songs that were later re-sang by other bands, and I realize a lot Malaysians actually don't know about Queen, yet they actually listened to many of their songs before. Their greatest hits album, sold (I think) something like the most in the world. Wikipedia or google it to check though. And the Greatest Hits album actually varies by countries. Different countries they list different songs in there. Anyway, my own top choice of their songs, in sorta ranking

    1. Bohemian Rhapsody
    2. Who Wants to Live Forever
    3. The Show Must Go On
    4. I Want It All
    5. We Are The Champions
    6. Don't Stop Me Now
    7. We Will Rock You
    8. Innuendo
    9. Killer Queen
    10. Crazy Little Thing Called Love

I will update the list later, havn't listened to their entire collection I just downloaded..watch this

  • Malaysia 909

I have always concerned about Malaysian politics ever since I knew how to read chinese papers..But once I go to UK I literally don't do anything that has connections with Malaysia at all, like talking to parents or read Malaysia news,.. But my friend recently told me about the case that a Penang UMNO division chief said chinese are squatters in Malaysia. Hmm.HMM. And what makes it worse is, he does not apologize, has full backing of UMNO Penang, and our dear PM and DPM has to apologize for him yet he is chilling around.

Well regardless what decision UMNO made on him, well, why isn't the police or court making a decision on him instead? Dude his statements I believe are against the law, ISA like what goverment had enjoyed using on either public or opposition. So what are the worst decisions on him now? Suspended from party? Sacked? What is that man. It should be like jail or whip. Anyway Mr. PM, OOOPS I missed out the full title which takes like 3 minutes to finish saying it but anyway show us what you are made of. There is no better chance to show that BN is the party and you are the man, especially if you still hope for some chinese votes and educated malay votes. And the police reports that Penang Gerakan made, is it gonna count at all? Or just another piece of paper and is the police gonna detained him? question him? Maybe not..

Imagine saying something like that in London to any other races. You get arrested almost immediately because you get prosecuted. Or you get stabbed by people who are so offended. And actually what was his problem? Out of no way comes a sentence like this? And he doesn't like Koh Tsu Koon? I thought Dr. Koh has been a good UMNO friend all along his tenure as CM of Penang, listening to his 'bosses' etc. No wonder he was so angry that finally he found his guts to do something like severing ties of Gerakan Penang and UMNO Penang. And MCA certainly should have more balls and severed whole Penang UMNO until this case is resolved because all UMNO chief in Penang backed that guy, didn't they?

And I just read what Rafidah said. Classic. I have to edit this post to add this in. She says that Dep PM already say sorry, so everybody relax and forget it. And to tell koh tsu koon to chill, don't take it hard of what that dude said after all his insult on him?? Rafidah such a joke, I wonder what is she still doing in government. I think most people forgot about the AP cases she had few years ago. Another cover-up. And now with so much altitude, said that. She is like DPM is the man, he say sorry means case closed. So he say bomb this fella also can? No one is above law and even if Ahmad apologize, its not over, and now what more he refuses to apologize. If someone say to Rafidah she is useless, create chaos, spoils unity, get lost from BN, and then that person's father come to her say sorry while that person gives a stubborn look that still wanna ask her to j*** off, I wonder what she will do.

ANd wth Barisan Nasional sent 40+ MPs to Taipei until 917? Isn't that very obvious its trying to halt Anwar's plan of 916? Cutting contact with PKR. Interesting. Another BN-lavish style. Spending lots of $$ of taxpayers money and god knows where they get it from. Something needs to be done. That's all I can say.
